Puerto Plata, Dominican Republic

It has been almost a year since I earned a trip to the Dominican Republic with my company.  Twenty team members left on April 25th, 2018 and headed to Puerto Plata, which is about a six hour drive from Punta Cana. Puerto Plata is a small, industrial community. We stayed at Viva Wyndham Tangerine in a little beach town called Cabereta. The people were friendly, the staff were wonderful and the beaches were gorgeous!

The purpose of our trip was to see why the CEO, Christopher Hardy,  is so passionate about the aloe grown in this area.  The aloe used in all of our products is grown in the Dominican. All plants are harvested by hand. Within 24 hours of harvest, the aloe is processed and bottle.  These are just a few of the images taken during my trip.

Our team is headed back to the DR in June. If you’d like to learn more about the health benefits of aloe, our company and maybe earn yourself a trip, be sure to reach out to me.
